​Art gives me a way to explore my experiences and who I am, and it's become one of the most powerful and special ways I connect with others.

What is chocolate to you?

​Chocolate is happiness, a sweet remedy, and inspiration in one (beautiful) package.

What inspires you, and this piece in particular?

My inner world and experience plant the seed, and the idea that it can connect me more to myself or others brings it to life. This piece grew out of an experience of not being able to let go. It explores the idea that some things are so hard to let go of because they are beyond this lifetime. ​
